Liberal Democrats deliver further income tax relief

April 4, 2014 9:30 AM

As from this weekend the personal tax allowance will rise to £10,000 thanks to the work of Liberal Democrats in coalition Government.

This means that across Wales 144,000 people will have been lifted out of paying income tax altogether since 2010 whilst 1,110,200 will have had a cut of £700.

In Rhondda Cynon Taff alone this equates to 10,600 people no longer paying income tax, and 90,800 who will be £700 better off per year. That is the best part of £60 a month extra in the pockets of workers.

Liberal Democrats - delivering for you.
