RCT Conservative Councillors in bust up

November 21, 2018 8:27 PM

It seems that it is not only at Westminster that the Conservative party is tearing itself apart. It is not without its problems here in RCT either.

Four Conservative Councillors were elected in 2017, but now 18 months later two of them have left the Conservative group and are now sitting as "unallocated."

Cllr Kate Libby Jones representing Pontyclun, and Mike Diamond, Councillor for Llantwit Fardre have not only left the group but have apparently fallen out with each other too.

We do not know quite what has caused such a bust up, but it does not bode well for the party locally.
